5VREAL – 5G Volley Reality Experience and Analytics Live. Goal includes development of algorithms for 3-D ball and player tracking, action and event detection, and tactic pattern recognition to level-up user experience in volleyball game broadcasting and coaches in performance analysis and decision making. ONFOODS – Research and Innovation Network on food and nutrition Sustainability, Safety and Security. Goal includes development of novel machine learning based algorithms for 3-D X-ray food inspection. Consortium: https://onfoods.it/. Funding: Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

INEST – Interconnected Nord-Est Innovation Ecosystem. Goal includes development of a perception toolbox for mobile machinery based on computer vision and multi-sensory fusion, collaborating with an industrial partner to reach appropriate technology readiness level. REMANUFACTURING – Robot-assisted Assembling and Disassembling to facilitate Remanufacturing and Product Reuse. Goal includes development of algorithms for human tracking and action recognition by combining video from fixed cameras with video and sensor streams from glasses worn by the human. Industry partner company: Durst AG. Funding: Stiftung Sparkasse.

HIPPA – Hyperspectral imaging for the detection of physiologically and parasitically induced damages on apple fruit at harvest and during postharvest. Partners: unibz (lead), EURAC, Research Centre Laimburg, MiCROTEC. Funding: European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
